Simple solution. Toast the bread for the PB&J. Then add your PB and J. The heat retained from the toasting of the bread should heat up the insides as well. And it has a satisfying crush as well.

I don't see why you can't heat jelly in the jar..with the lid off.
However, whatever you do...
don't do this:
Cut a green grape almost in half, leaving a little bit of skin attaching each half.
Put the grape on a paper plate round sides down i.e. flat, cut side up.
Put it in the microwave.
Set the microwave for 30 seconds & turn it on.
Watch the grape carefully.
Hmmm, I wonder what would happen to the grape?

As long as the lid isn't on, do it.
Don't do this:
Grab a used, tightly sealable jar.
Create a suspension of iodized salt and warm water, mixing it for 3 minutes.
Pour virgin vineger into your suspension.
Wrap an egg tightly in tin foil.
Take a piece of seran wrap and coat it with baking soda.
Carefully wrap the tin foil egg with the seran wrap.
Use tin foil around the egg again.
Put the egg into the suspension.
Seal the jar.
Stick the device in the microwave and set for 6 minutes.
*EDIT* Forgot to tell you to remove the fuse from the microwave and use a brazed copper nail and solder to close the circuit.
This is not recommended.

My uncle wanted to eat some ice cream but it is always easier to get the ice cream out of the carton when you have a warm spoon or something. But my uncle says i'll just put it into the microwave for 40 seconds. But he was distracted and didn't realize that he set it for 40 minutes well when he found it the box was on fire. He's such and idiot.

Like the way you think.
Tried your experiment...
Ruined my microwave...
And now my house smells like gangrenous feet.
Plus, ever since the explosion, I can't find the cat.

youre kidding me, right???
And microwaving glass is fine.. microwaving metal is bad. microwaving a cardoard product is fine, too. microwaving plastic is bad. NEVER microwave iol and water.
my advice?
Get Married. there are some things were not genetically programmed to do, (even though i am a better cook than my wife, doesnt mean she's not better than me in the kitchen).

I got intrigued and did a little research into microwaving a CD...apparently if you turn off the lights and microwave it...you get your own electric light show...
